Meckley Services is looking for a Commercial Construction Working Superintendent who has a fundamental knowledge of construction material cost and fundamental knowledge of Divisions: Concrete, Masonry, Carpentry, Roofing, Doors, Frames and Hardware, Plumbing, Electrical, and Basic Utilities/Excavation. Our superintendent works nights and weekends as needed. Our average superintendent makes $100K with OT.

Responsibilities:

• Manage commercial interior and exterior renovation work. Small project renovation experience a plus.
• In charge of management of electrical, plumbing, and concrete throughout the project
• Client and Sub-Contractor coordination
• Permit tracking and closeout management
• Change-order Logs and Sub-contract Change-order tracking
• RFI and submitting and tracking Job Cost Reporting - Project Close-Out
• Prepare cost estimates based on information collected by others.

Qualifications:

• A Superintendent should have fundamental knowledge of construction material cost and fundamental knowledge of the following divisions: Concrete, Masonry, Carpentry, Roofing, Doors, Frames and Hardware, Plumbing, Electrical, and Basic Utilities/Excavation
• Minimum 5 years in Commercial Service Management Industry
• Ability to be flexible to adjust to changing conditions and the needs of our customers.
• Good communication (verbal and written), interpersonal skills required.
• Proficiency in reading Blueprints
• Must be able to successfully complete and pass a background screening, drug test, and driver's license check. Must have a valid driver's license.

Experience:

• Supervising: 5 years (Preferred)
• Commercial Remodel and Renovation: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
