Job Title: Pediatric Medical Assistant Location: Fairfax, VA
Schedule: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Pay : $21 - $24
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Rotating Saturdays, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Assist healthcare providers with pediatric patient exams and procedures.
Obtain and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, weight, height).
Administer immunizations and medications as directed.
Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system.
Ensure examination rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for patients.
Collaborate with clinical staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred, especially in a pediatric setting.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology is essential.
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, etc.) is strongly preferred.
