Job Summary

The 3D Photography Contractor position is a short-term, 1099 contract-based opportunity within our Grand Rapids, MI high-volume e-commerce product photography studio. This position will be responsible for capturing still images used to create 3D models while adhering to established workflows to ensure high quality deliverables. Our photographers need an eye for detail concerning prep of the shoe, placement on turntable, file naming, and file management all following set procedures. Being able to identify proper exposure and adjustment settings without oversight will be expected. Experience with Lightroom, Mac OSX, and Finder are required. Being able to pay strict attention to detail is paramount. Applicants should be self-motivated, hard-working, and organized. This is an hourly paid position; pay rate is $25 / hour. Responsibilities and Duties

• Product Photography
  • Confirm proper exposure
  • Confirm product preparation is satisfactory
  • Product placement utilizing 360&degree; turntables
  • Utilizing tethered cameras to photograph products on multiple stations concurrently
  • Save and export image files using a variety of software tools 

Qualifications and Skills

• Comfort with dSLR operation
• Attention to Detail
• Product preparation and placement
• E-Commerce photography
• Familiarity with Lightroom
• Mac OS / Finder

Note: This position will be in a high volume photography studio with highly repetitive, bright flashes - those with light sensitivities or prone to seizures should not apply.
