The Mailing Specialist is responsible for processing mailing lists using a computer, coordinating the setup and operation of all inkjet and mailing devices according to specifications for each job while maintaining quality standards. The Mailing Specialist must stay up to date on postal regulations, assist customers with mailing and list requirements, and perform administrative duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Import, process and output customer mailing lists.

e Data entry and list maintenance.

Check files for conformity of supplied mail piece with United States Postal Service regulations.

Prepare proper documentation, ensuring recordkeeping requirements for jobs are met.

Oversee inkjet quality, assuring barcodes meet postal specifications and image is clean and clear.

Coordinate with shipping for daily mail drops.

Work with customers and their data houses to facilitate properly prepared materials for mailing.

Provides direct administrative support for the Postpress Manager.

Follows all safety regulations, company policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS Education & Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with experience or vocational certification. One to three months previous experience or related training.

Skills & Abilities Procedures learned through on-the-job training in a few weeks to a few months. Proficient with computers and all applicable software. Have knowledge of the United States Postal System and its regulations. Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide. Ability to understand and carry out instructions.

Work Requirements Requires good hand dexterity. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Works with moving mechanical parts and is exposed to moderate noise. Regular and reliable attendance required.

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive wage, benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long-term disability and paid time off. Salary range $20-$23.
