A busy, international family is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, gentle and nurturing Temporary, Travelling, Rota Nanny to care for their 2 children; G 2.5 years & baby born in Feb 2025, whilst they are travelling in Europe this summer.  This is a fixed contract, May - July and countries will incl. Hungary & Croatia.

~ Core working hours will be 3 weeks on/off, working 24 hours when on duty (24 hours will not always be needed, but the nanny would be on-call in case). 

This role is a mix of shared share and sole charge with the parents very much involved in their children’s lives. The new baby has a Night Nanny who will be with the family until July. The Temporary, Travel Nanny will be expected to have a good understanding and experience of working with children of a similar age, maintaining a good routine and adapting this as necessary. They should be a strong communicator and someone who respects boundaries knowing when to help and when to step back. The Temporary, Travelling Rota Nanny will need to be very safety conscious and attentive to the children at all times.

A nanny who enjoys travelling and has experience of travelling with families is essential. The parents will be working over this time and so a nanny who is used to adapting to different locations and providing age and stage appropriate activities would be required. 

When on duty the accommodation for the nanny will depend on where the family are staying (it will be a mix of hotels and private houses) but in general will consist of a bedroom and ensuite bathroom, occasionally sharing with one of the children.

A driver is not essential but if the nanny can drive, a car may be provided for when working, depending on location.

The family has a dog at their home in the USA.

***The clients are also seeking a permanent, Live-in Nanny at home in LA,  to support them on their return from their summer travels, so candidates who hold American passports would be advantageous as the family may look to offer them the permanent role when they return home to Los Angeles.***
