The Main Responsibilities

Lumen’s Finance organization is looking for a Corporate Real Estate Operation Intern to join our Real Estate and Fleet team in our Denver, CO office for Lumen’s 10-week internship. This team’s focus is centered around Corporate Real Estate management, including but not limited to – portfolio management, energy management, facilities management, capital projects management, and more. The intern will have the unique opportunity to join a strong team of knowledgeable and experienced individuals looking to drive Lumen’s transformation.

Other responsibilities of intern will include:

  • Data analysis, report preparation, document review, and research
  • Coordination of various internal communications
  • Involvement with managing projects and maintenance at our largest facilities in the Denver area
  • Support to Centralized Support team
  • Other duties as assigned

What We Look For in a Candidate

Program eligibility is contingent on the candidate’s commitment for the entire 10-week program. No exceptions will be made.

Required qualifications

  • Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior level education status at the start of the internship
  • Graduating August 2025 – May 2026
  • Preferred fields include but not limited to: Business, Finance, Marketing, Real Estate, Management, Communications, PR or related field
  • Intern must be able to work 40 hours per week during the 10-week program (May 30 – August 8, 2025)

Proficiency and understanding of:

  • Word, PowerPoint, Excel with emphasis on pivot tables and V-lookups
  • PowerBI and/or AI experience is beneficial
  • All Lumen-specific technology will be taught during the 10-week internship period

Preferred qualifications

  • Detailed oriented – Ability to clearly, succinctly and accurately express details in an understandable format
  • Eager to learn – Technology is constantly changing, and having the drive to learn new technology and apply it is essential to success

Compensation

Internship compensation ranges depend on each individual’s level of education, geographic location, and experience/qualifications aligned to the role.

Hourly Based Pay Range:

Min: $22.00/hour
Max: $35.00/hour

What to Expect Next

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
